I was fascinated to observe the mass amount of flags decorating Morocco’s major city streets. It is very clear how an aspect of Morocco’s nationalism is based in its consistent imagery, especially flags. This is common in recently-independent nations — flags are emblems of pride, freedom, and identity. However, it is also clear these flags extend beyond these intentions.
